Ride to Nowhere

Hyde and Tom have seperated; inhabiting their own bodies as a result of Hyde's death and surprise rebirth. However, the reunion has been nothing less than rocky, with arguments and fights breaking out over even the smallest things. Tom, realising that him and Hyde need to learn to co-exist, is taking Hyde on a drive. And now, they are both sat in a car, Hyde mindlessly reading a road map, as they ride to nowhere.

Having been reading this darn map thingy for half an hour, gets bored and screws it up only to throw it out the window

“Boring!”

Shuffles about, the torture of having to sit still for more than 10 minutes and no entertainment to be had only infuriated the cravings for fun and mischief. With a sigh, Hyde switches the radio on and cranks the volume up to full pelt….even though it’s just interference

Tom reaches over and cranks down the volume, causing a deep dark stare to flash across Hyde's face. Tom hated these distractions while he was driving - could he not just once have a quiet, relaxing car ride, the breeze flowing over him and the joy of driving at 70 down a quiet motorway?

Sensing Jackman’s exasperation, and not been the least perturbed by it other than highly amused, Hyde persisted to crank the volume up, just to settle one point - what Hyde wants, Hyde gets.
With little else to focus his already wandering attention on, he spots a petrol station and makes them stop there. Oh, he could think of ways to curb his boredom in a place like this :D

Tom sharply turns the radio off when Hyde leaves the car, and giving himself a few seconds to catch his breath, steps outside into the cold, populated petrol station. He kept a close eye on Hyde, who was spending rather too much time watching a woman bend over as she poured petrol into her car. He scowled and began to fill up the car, glancing over at Hyde every few seconds, as if he knew that something was going to happen. Then again, with Hyde about, it usually did.

Hyde began to wander off and follow the woman as she headed in to pay. "Hyde, don't go far" Tom called over, trying to sound as authorative as he could.
